Week 4 GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Week 4

Rookies
 
The University Orthopaedics Black Swarm won 14-0 against the University Orthopaedics GoPros with a touchdown and two interceptions by Henry Wilhelm and a Carter Price touchdown.
University Orthopaedics Black Jaguars scored 28 points to win with touchdowns by Cole Dorsky, Colton Monica, and two by Ezra Lerman including one off a Colton Monica touchdown pass.  The Christine’s Hope Wizards scored 21 with touchdowns by John Monica and two by Harvey Smith, including one off a John Monica touchdown pass.
The Christine’s Hope Dominators won 21-14 over the Christine’s Hope Dragons who had two scores by Rowan Conner.  Will Reardon scored 3 touchdowns for the Dominators.
Juniors
The Princeton PBA 130 Hawkeyes outscored the AIG Tarheels to win (31-27). In a close game the Hawkeyes Travis Petrone, Thomas Proljevka, Marvin Whitest and Corey Woodson all scored touchdowns. There were 1st half big stops by Phineas Choe and Dylan Powers. And Corey Woodson won the game with a 60 yard winning touchdown. Just as strong for the AIG Tarheels Henry Crotty started the scoring with an 80 yard touchdown scamper. Max Majeski led with strong rushing attacks and added two more touchdowns. Remmick Granozio and Gabe Jacknow connected on two long touchdown throws to keep the scoring on pace for the Tarheels in the second half. Rafael Frase continued to anchor the offensive line for AIG rushing attack.
In the AYCO Ducks vs. Graylyn Fighting Irish game the Ducks shut out the Irish (18-0). Jake Angelucci led his team with two touchdowns scoring both in long runs. Alex Winters added one running from the 20.  Gavin Lewis led on defense with strong tackling securing the teams second shut out.
 
 
The Narrangansett Bay Spartans beat the Trattoria Procaccini Bulldogs (24-14). The Spartans AJ Surace and Ellington Hinds connected for two touchdowns and John Linko scored two more one on an interception return. Other interceptions helped the Spartans stay ahead by Ellington Hinds and Patrick Suryanarayan.  The Bulldogs QB Ben Walden and Charlie Hogshire connected for two touchdowns. Sebastian Alizio ran for the 1 point conversion and Ilan Cekic ran for an extra point. Great defense played by Bulldogs Charlie Hogshire, Sebastian Alizio, Ben Walden, David Brophy and Leo Sarett and a one handed interception by Daniel Monga. Lucas Dorsky sacked the Spartans’ QB to prevent extra points.  
Seniors

The Teresa Caffé Steelers outscored the Pure Insurance Panthers by a final score (26-22).  Will Brandt led the scoring with an interception for a touchdown and two TD runs including one on the final play to win the game.  Michio Patafio had a touchdown and played great defense.   Anthony Momo also contributed with multiple catches including two extra points.  Julian Liao and Giancarlo Momo made some key blocks and tackles.  For the Panthers, Nico Cucchi connected with Jake Renda and Jack Wargo for two touchdowns and again to Archer Ayers and Jake Renda for the extra points.  Nico Cucchi also contributed with a defensive safety.

The Bai Jets beat the Majeski Foundation Texans (25 to 12).  For the Jets, Marshall Borham threw 2 touchdowns, one to David Dorini and one to John Reardon.  John Reardon and Drew Pianka each ran for one more touchdown. Lleyton Shaw contributed with an extra point and Kaden Murray-Dye had a key interception at the end of the game.  For the Texans, interceptions were recorded by Marty Brophy, Gabe Majeski and Max Blecher.  Rohan Sheth threw 2 touchdown passes including one to Jacob Rose-Seiden.

The Chubb Insurance Saints beat the Petrone Associate Seahawks (19-18).   For the Saints, Ryan Cruser scored to give the team an early lead 6-0.  QB Will Doran connected with Ollie Smith for 2 TDs.  Justin Ludmer contributed with an extra point reception and a long run to set up a TD.  The Seahawks had 3 TDs for the day, led by Dylan Angelucci who passed for three touchdowns;  two to Ryan Cruser and one to Sanjay Suryanarayan but could not convert any of the extra points.
